The 5 Most Well-Paid YouTubers: Who Makes the Most YouTube Money?!?

Back to Contents

The internet is a pretty powerful tool. Aside from putting information at our fingertips, the internet also has the power to turn ordinary people into multi-millionaires almost overnight. Thanks to platforms like YouTube, people can share original videos online to massive numbers of people worldwide. This paved the way for the insurgence of what we now call as influencers.

Influencers are social media superstars who’ve created a following for themselves through their social channels. Among the most noteworthy influencers of today are those who are raking in millions through their YouTube channel.

Let’s find out which among the biggest and the brightest YouTubers are earning big bucks in the blog below.

Daniel Middleton – $16.5 M

Daniel Middleton is a famed YouTuber in the gaming community where his videos have earned him over 17 million subscribers. Middleton was hailed the highest paid YouTuber of 2017 by Forbes magazine with his net worth of over $16.5 M.

At 26 years old, Middleton managed to charm the internet with his loud and entertaining Minecraft game plays.

Middleton’s success has transcended borders and earned him a massive following in the United States and the rest of the world. Through his online success, he’s able to tour the world to meet his fans and connect with them on a more personal level.

I may not be a fan of gaming but I can see how Middleton’s videos have earned him the cult following that he has now, he pushes for fresh and relevant content and keeps everyone entertained with his charming and boisterous personality.

PewDiePie – $15 M

Whether you’re into gaming or not, it’s hard not to recognize  Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, much better known to the internet as PewDiePie.

PewDiePie is the owner of the most subscribed channel on the internet with over 60 million subscribers. His annual net worth of $15 M, according to Forbes, show just how important it is to get YouTube subscribers.

PewDiePie streams game play videos that are accompanied by his pithy commentaries. Over the years, he’s turned his name into a global brand through sold-out world tours and merchandise, a YouTube Red series and a well-acclaimed book entitled This Book Loves You.

Like I said, you don’t have to be into gaming to find PewDiePie entertaining. His signature brand of sarcasm and internet rebellion is what got me – and the rest of the world – tuned in to his next upload.

Logan Paul  – $12.5 M

When Vine was finally laid to rest in 2016, many Vine stars migrated their content to YouTube in the hopes of resuscitating their online success. Among these hopefuls was Logan Paul, who’s claim to fame is making prank videos and outrageous vlogs.

Recently, Logan Paul caused quite a stir on the internet when he filmed a lifeless body hanging from one of the trees in the infamous Suicide Forest in Japan.

Love him or hate him – I hate him – Logan Paul is one of the most recognizable YouTubers to date. He currently has over 16 million subscribers and a net worth of $12.5 million, most of which come from his numerous brand deals.

Logan Paul is arguably one of the most hated names on the internet to date, which makes me wonder how his net worth will be affected.

Ryan ToysReview – $11 M

When you’re a kid, there’s nothing more exciting than opening a toy, but I bet earning millions for doing it makes it even more exciting. Ryan, of Ryan ToysReview, is an enthusiastic 6-year-old who loves opening new toys and sharing his honest thoughts to everyone on the internet.

Forbes estimated that Ryan earned over $11 million in pretax income  from uploading videos almost daily.

Ryan’s channel came about when he asked his parents why he couldn’t film toy reviews for YouTube. His shot to fame came when his unboxing video featuring over 100 toys from Pixar’s “Cars” series went viral, receiving over 800 million views.  His success has translated to his own line of toys which debuted at the New York Toy Fair.

Lilly Singh – $10.5 M

Lilly Singh is a sketch comedian who’s made a name for herself by making a lot of sketches that heavily relied on her Indian background.

Aside from making millions laugh with her antics and comedic prowess, Lilly Singh, better known as Superwoman, uses her platform to empower everyone to rise above adversity and negativity. Her message is what endeared her to YouTube users worldwide.

Aside from earning an estimated net worth of over $10.5 M  through ad revenue on YouTube and other endeavors, Singh uses her online platform to spread positive influence to her young audience.

Singh doesn’t go for the cheap laughs. Instead, she uses her voice to make the internet a more pleasant and peaceful place for everyone – and makes a fool out of herself along the way. I would also like to add that she is so blazingly hot that I sometimes have a difficult time looking directly at her…

Influencers Are Taking Over The World

YouTubers are the A-list celebrities of the internet and have the power to influence millions of people through their videos. These YouTubers taught me the power of the internet and how millions of views can easily translate to millions in cold hard cash – before taxes.

Views speak volumes on the internet and if you want YouTube to pave the way to your success, you have to have impressive stats to back you up.

Earning organic views in a short amount of time can be hard on a competitive platform like YouTube. Buying high-quality views from a tried and tested provider is one way to kickstart a potentially viral campaign or even a burgeoning career in content creation.
