Funny YouTube Channels That Will Brighten Up Your Day

Back to Contents

Because we live such fast-paced lives, we crave for entertainment and education on-demand. YouTube is our gateway to both entertainment and education, even on the go.

YouTube is home to some of the most influential content creators on the internet. Because there’s such a robust population of content creators on YouTube, we can easily access fun, fresh and engaging content whenever, wherever – for as long as you have a reliable internet connection.

Despite it all, YouTube still remains as one of the most entertaining corners of the internet. If you want to brighten up your day even for just a couple of minutes, definitely check out some of these hilarious channels!

Epic Rap Battles of History

Are you a big history buff and a fan of a bit of 8-mile styled rap battles? Then you definitely need to visit the Epic Rap Battles of History channel for some of the most entertaining videos you can ever come across.

E.R.B.O.H puts pop culture icons and history legends head to head in a rap battle format that is nothing short of hilarious.

The channel was created by Peter Shukoff (a.k.a. Nice Peter) and Lloyd Ahlquist (a.k.a. EpicLLOYD and currently has 1 million subscribers who tune in to their spit-fire episodes every single week.

Liza Koshy

If funny sketches are your thing, check out Liza Koshy’s channel for large doses of laughs. Liza is a small yet terribly funny YouTuber with over 13 million subscribers who are all drawn to her crazy antics and relatably awkward personality.

Liza is one of the few Vine stars who successfully moved over to YouTube before the former platform shut down.  She tends to look as ridiculous as possible while putting on different Indian stereotypes.

Fine Brothers Entertainment

The Fine Bros. are the founding fathers of reaction videos and have managed to create an entire network based on their newly discovered format.

The Fine Bros. publish videos featuring college kids reacting to floppy disks and old people reacting to rap music – all of which I find painfully funny. Currently, the Fine Bros. Entertainment channel has over 16 million subscribers and over 6 billion views. They release new videos every week, which gives us a lot of content to sink our teeth into.

Nigahiga

Ryan Higa runs the comedy channel NigaHiga where he publishes funny sketches and parodies for his 19 million subscribers.

Ryan is an OG YouTuber that has managed to stay relevant throughout the years. Unlike new breed YouTubers, NigaHiga solely relies on comedy to entertain his audience, no cheap tricks or jump scare.

Smosh

Smosh is another veteran channel on YouTube that has been around since 2006. The comedic duo Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla used to run the channel until the later decided to leave the partnership to become an independent creator.

Since 2006, Smosh has been giving us fresh servings of hilarious sketches, which is reminiscent of what YouTube comedy used to be all about.

Smosh publishes three videos a week, which means we won’t run out of things to laugh about.

Have a Break, Watch A YouTube Video

If you’re looking for some comedic relief in your life while you’re stuck in the office or while commuting to work, check out the channels I listed above.

If you fancy yourself a comedian, why not upload your own hilarious videos? The internet can be nasty sometimes so why not brighten people’s day with your signature brand of comedy, right?

Don’t forget to take inspiration from some of the comedy channels that are killing it on YouTube!
